This film combines real footage and hand-drawn 2D animation to explore our tendency to escape reality and distract ourselves with media like video games and how excessive escapism can mess with our mental health and sense of reality.
Flux - Experimental Animation
This work reinterprets a piece of work by Max Sweeney (Broken Elevator Music, 2023). Each section, in one way or another, changes and morphs and flows, and connects man-made, mechanical visuals with more natural, flowing forms found in nature.
